Bunbury resident Doug Slater has been a taxi driver for over 11 years. Born and bred in WA, Doug
followed in the footsteps of numerous family members when he chose to be a cabbie. Ensuring passengers have the most enjoyable ride possible is Doug's mission on every trip, and he
loves talking to passengers and hearing their stories about where they’ve been and what they’ve done,
especially travellers.

• When asked what he loves most about WA, Doug said it’s his home town of Bunbury, because of its vibrant atmosphere and abundance of tourists
• Doug once picked up a passenger who had won at the casino and shared his winnings with him
